    Return & Exchange Policy for Hauppauge Wine & Liquor

    1. Age Restriction:

    You must be 21 years of age or older to visit and use this website. By accessing or using hauppaugewine.com, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age. If you are not of legal drinking age or do not agree with our terms and conditions, please do not use this website.


    2. General Terms:

    Hauppauge Wine & Liquor, based in New York, operates this online store. All prices are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors and reserve the right to correct pricing errors at our discretion.

    We may revise these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of the website after any changes implies your acceptance of the revised terms.


    3. Interpretation:

    Captions, titles, or section headings in these terms and conditions are for reference only and do not affect the interpretation of the provisions.

    The term "including" or "include" means "including without limitation" or "include without limitation," as applicable.


    4. Additional Policies:

    This Return & Exchange Policy must be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Shipping Policy, all available on hauppaugewine.com.


    5. Refunds and Returns:

    At Hauppauge Wine & Liquor, all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds or returns.

    In exceptional cases, we may accept a return at our discretion. If we agree to accept a return, a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Please note, shipping costs are non-refundable.

    If your order was shipped free of charge as part of a promotion, a $40.00 fee for shipping and handling will be deducted from your refund.


    6. Failed Delivery Attempts:

    If you fail to receive your order after the allocated number of delivery attempts per the shipping carrier's policies, and the product is returned to Hauppauge Wine & Liquor, a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

    If your order was shipped free of charge due to a promotion, a $40.00 fee for shipping and handling will be deducted from the refund.

    If the package is returned to us damaged due to failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.


    7. Exchanges and Store Credit:

    Exchanges and store credit are determined on a case-by-case basis and are limited to the following scenarios:

    • Damaged Product: If your product is significantly damaged upon receipt and you purchased shipping insurance from us, you may be eligible for an identical replacement if the product is in stock. If the product is out of stock, you may receive store credit for the purchase price, including the original shipping costs.

    • Incorrect Orders: If you receive a product that does not match your order receipt, we will send you the correct item after receiving the incorrect item back. We will provide you with a return label. If the correct item is no longer available, we will issue store credit for the purchase price of the incorrect item.


    8. Order Cancellation:

    All sales are final. However, if you wish to cancel an order that has not yet been packaged or shipped, we may issue a refund at our discretion, subject to a 10% restocking fee.
